About the Studio
Design rooted in intention
Our Story
Twelve years of considered spaces
Founded in 2013, Maison Leva began in a small studio in Manhattan's West Village with a single conviction: that great interior design should feel inevitable — as though a space could not have been any other way.
Today we work on residences, boutique hotels, and commercial interiors across the United States, bringing the same unhurried attention to a Tribeca loft as to a Beverly Hills estate. We take on a select number of projects each year deliberately — not as a marketing strategy, but because depth of care is simply how we work.
We are not chasing the next trend. We are studying how light falls in February, how the grain of a particular walnut reads at night, how a room should make you feel when you walk in after a hard day.

A beautiful room that doesn't work is a failure. We refuse to sacrifice livability for aesthetics — and we believe the tension between the two produces the best work.
Honest materials
We favor natural stone, solid wood, hand-woven textiles, and aged metals. Materials that improve with time. Nothing that pretends to be something it is not.

We don't believe in rushing to the drawing board. The most important work in any project happens before a single line is sketched — in conversation, in observation, and in careful questioning.
Every Maison Leva project follows the same four-phase arc, adapted in timing and intensity to the scale and complexity of your space.

We begin every project with an in-depth conversation about how you live, what you love, and what you've never been able to articulate but always felt. We visit the site, take measurements, and absorb the light at different times of day.

Development
Weeks 7–20
Full technical drawings, detailed specifications, procurement of every piece, coordination with architects and contractors, and oversight of construction progress. You receive a weekly update. We handle the complexity.

Final 2–3 Weeks
